ABOUT

Majella Bess is an Irish-born performer, choreographer, and director with a background in gymnastics, breakdance, circus arts, and contemporary dance. Her distinctive style blends athletic, acrobatic movement with dynamic partnering to create bold, physical performances.

Majella travels between Los Angeles and New York as a freelance choreographer and performer. She is currently performing with DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion in DTLA and working as a casting director for Future Factory, a new immersive production debuting in Los Angeles early next year.

In 2025, she was named an Emerging Choreographer by Springboard Danse and premiered two original works in both Los Angeles and New York. She worked on Life and Trust—an immersive, site-specific theatrical experience in NYC by Emursive (the producers of Sleep No More)—as an original cast member and collaborative choreographer.

She toured with DIAVOLO, serving as co-choreographer, rehearsal director, and performer, creating and casting five evening-length works.

As a performer, Majella has appeared as a Top 10 Finalist on America’s Got Talent (Season 12) and on Le Grand Cabaret du Monde (Paris) and The Helene Fischer Show (Düsseldorf).
